The content of RxVigilance is created and updated by our team of pharmacists
In addition to product monographs from Canadian and American manufacturers, our team consults numerous specialized references, including those on:
- Drug interactions (e.g., Stockley's Drug Interactions)
- Infectiology
- Drugs in pregnancy and lactation
They also consult provincial and Canadian practice guidelines (e.g., Public Health), and guidelines from recognized organizations (e.g., IDSA, SOGC, Canadian Paediatric Society).
Our team then uses their clinical judgment to identify and include the information most relevant to front-line health care professionals. A systematic peer review is carried out for each modification or addition to our data.
Note that most of the documentary sources used to develop our content are listed in the References section of each document.
