# Do I need to uninstall the old app before using the new one?
## No, but it's recommended.
Since the old app (Apple) and the new RxVigilance mobile version are separate applications, you do not need to uninstall the old one before using the new version. If your subscription to the old app is still active, you can continue using it alongside the new app.
For the best experience, we recommend uninstalling the old app once your subscription expires.
